How it works
Three steps. You only pay if a unit lands on your site.
Send the spec
kVA, voltages, location or DNSP, and when you need it on site. One short form.
We check live stock
Surplus and refurbished units listed with Australian dealers first, offshore lots only if the voltage fits.
You get real listings
Matching units with specs and where they sit. You decide. Brokerage of 5–8% applies only if we place one.
Who it’s for
Built for the people who get stuck waiting on the transformer.
C&I solar and BESS EPCs with a connection date and no unit.
EV-charging and depot contractors sizing 1 MVA-class sites.
ASP Level 3 designers whose clients face long lead times on new units.
Electrical contractors with a site upgrade on the critical path.
What we check before we send you anything
Rating and voltages match what you sent, plus vector group if you gave one.
Nameplate, condition and test records the seller can provide.
Where it sits, so you can weigh freight against waiting for new.
DNSP acceptance flagged, not assumed. Your ASP or DNSP makes that call.
Not for homeowners or residential solar. Trade and project enquiries only.
What happens next
We check current surplus and refurbished listings against your spec. If there’s a real fit, you get the listings with specs and location. If there isn’t, we say so rather than send you near-misses.
The fee
Brokerage of 5–8%, only if we place a unit. Terms are agreed in writing before any money moves.
Questions
Straight answers
Do you hold the stock?
No. We match you to units already listed by dealers and surplus sellers. The seller supplies the unit, its documentation and any warranty; we tell you what’s on offer before you commit.
Will my DNSP accept a surplus or refurbished unit?
It depends on the network and the unit. We flag what we know about each listing, but acceptance is a call for your ASP designer and the DNSP. We never assume it.
What if a new unit is faster?
Then we’ll tell you. The point is getting gear on site sooner, not selling you used gear for its own sake.
What sizes and voltages?
Mostly 500 kVA to 3 MVA, 11 kV to 415/433 V class, plus matching switchgear and RMUs. Outside that band, send it anyway and we’ll say if we can help.
Outside the NEM?
We start with the NEM states. For WA, NT or offshore projects, send the spec and we’ll tell you honestly whether we can source it.
